Tomorrow in human geo we will have a group discussion on Mexicans entering the United States of America illegally. I think it will be a interesting discussion that will hopefully not get out of hand. I just finished reading the first article which was the New York Times article which was surprisingly neutral until the end. It seems like the articles are making a big deal about the tear gas and it was cruel to use it. A quote from one of the Articles was, “We don’t even have weapons,” "We just wanted to cross" This quote was obviously from someone trying to enter the U.S illegally, and he is saying that they were defenseless against the police and did not deserve to be tear gassed. Tear gas is standard procedure for any type of riot that turns violent, in this case the immigrants were throwing objects at the border patrol. Tear gas is even used just to get people out of there house when they are getting arrested. The media is trying to make the situation MUCH worse that it already is, just making the two political parties hate each other even more.
